The Bison flank steak is lean, extremely flavorful and tender. Best if marinated and grilled. Do not over cook this steak and be sure to cut it against the grain. Each steak weighs approximately 16 oz. One steak per package.
Marinated Bison Flank Steak: Recipe
Ingredients:
1 flank steak about 1 ½ lbs.
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic clove, chopped
1 teaspoon Italian parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped
1/2 cup cabernet sauvignon wine
salt
fresh ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and marinate steak for 1 hour. Heat grill to medium-high heat and grill steaks for 5-6 minutes per side. Take off heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
