This is a sweet version of our Hot Italian Sausage recipe. Great for lasagna, pasta, grilling or Sausage Gravy over biscuits. Each pack weighs approximately one pound.
Sausage Gravy over Bisquits
Ingredients:
1 lb. Bison Sweet Italian Sausage
1/3 cup flour
1 quart milk
1 dash pepper
Refrigerated buttermilk bisquits
Directions:
Cook bison sausage in skillet on med-high heat. Drain any excess pan drippings if necessary. Reduce heat to med-low and sprinkle flour over sausage and stir well. Cook flour and sausage together for about 5 - 7 minutes. Add milk and cook until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve over baked biscuits.
