Get to know our Gunpowder Bison team member Robin Troy!

When you see Gunpowder Bison & Trading Co. on a Maryland, Virginia or Pennsylvania restaurant menu, the woman behind the bison meat is our Wholesale Manager Robin Troy. A White Hall, Maryland native who grew up on a farm raising sheep continues to live on a farm with her husband and two kids but now raising beef cattle and pigs. When she’s not busy farming or helping restaurants incorporate bison meat into their menus, she can be found riding horses with her daughter.
What's your favorite bar/restaurant?
I have three that I just can’t choose between: Michael’s Cafe, Friendly Farms and Casa Mia’s.
